Michele Adair is a seasoned leader, entrepreneur, and healthcare-focused professional with a foundation built on
military service, behavioral health leadership, and operational management. She brings over two decades of experience overseeing personnel, systems, and high-responsibility
environments—skills directly aligned with the
successful operation of a residential assisted living facility.
She began her career in the United States Navy in 1997, serving with distinction across multiple domestic and international duty stations. While stationed aboard the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk (CV-63) in Yokosuka, Japan, she became
the first female Arresting Gear Topside Petty Officer and earned her Air Warfare qualification. She later transitioned into military law enforcement in Bahrain, where she was
selected as a Field Training Officer, and continued her leadership progression as Watch Commander and Duty Armorer at NAF El Centro.
Her career culminated in senior leadership roles within Navy medical systems. After completing the Navy Drug and
Alcohol Counseling School (NDACS), she served at Naval Medical Center San Diego as the Senior Enlisted Leader for The Mental Health Directorate. In this role, she oversaw
operations across five outpatient mental health clinics, two drug and alcohol treatment facilities, and a major inpatient psychiatric unit, while leading all enlisted personnel within
the directorate. She also served as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor and Leading Chief Petty Officer for intensive outpatient treatment programs.
She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Psychology and has been approved for U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) funding to pursue a doctorate focused on brain science. Her academic path is intentionally aligned
with her mission to integrate evidence-based cognitive and mental health practices into residential assisted living environments.
